TALAKONA is the highest waterfall with height of 270ft water falling in the Andhra Pradesh state. It is the oldest temple which was built around 140 years ago. There is a famous temple at Talakona waterfalls which is a Lord Shiva temple known as “SIDDESHWATA SWAMY TEMPLE”. The Talakona waterfalls is in Sri Venkateswara National Park, near to Nerabailu Village of Yerrai Mandal of Chittoor area in Andhra Pradesh , which is close to about 60km from Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirupati. And it is believed that the waters of Talakona are enriched with herbs of medicinal properties.
