Chennai to Trichy
Chennai to Trichy is nearly 350km from the South. Trichy is fully pronounced as Tiruchirapally and it is the fourth largest city in the Tamilnadu state, situated on the banks of Cauvery river. The Cauvery delta is divided into two river streams Kaveri and Kollidam which flows around the srirangam island.
The City is famous for its temples which depicts ancient and religious significance. Vaikunta Ekadasi is a famous festival in Sri Ranganathaswamy temple and the Rockfort Car festival also attracts thousands of visitors all over the world. Tiruchirapalli is home to many historic temples, monuments, churches and mosques.
